In 2011, we brought back the popular promotions of 2010, and introduced some new ones that proved to be just as successful. Take a look back over the year below and keep an eye on our website and in retail stores for upcoming promotions – and be in with a chance to win even more than Lotto.

Dec 2011 –Holiday Promotion

200 lucky Triple Dip players celebrated New Year’s Eve in style! Lotto’s Holiday promotion had over $5 million worth of extra prizes up for grabs. With two cash prizes of $1 million, two $500,000 cash prizes towards a bach, three His and Her car packages, three car and boat packages, 40 travel escapes and 150 extra cash prizes of $5,000, there was something for everyone!

Aug - Sept 2011 –Father's Day Promotion

This Father's Day, ten lucky winners around the country had the enviable task of choosing between either a Ford Performance Vehicle or a Holden Special Vehicle. The two week promotion started with a bang, kept up a wicked pace throughout, and ten Triple Dip players were big winners on the last lap!

May 2011 – Mother’s Day Promotion

This year kiwi Mums were pampered with 100 extra prizes ranging from shopping sprees and holidays to $1 million cash! Lotto Triple Dip players had the fun choice of picking up gift packs to suit all tastes, budgets and mums, with specially designed envelopes – and once again, it was huge success.

March - April 2011– 100 Giant Nest Eggs For Easter

100 cash prizes were up for grabs making the Easter promotion as popular as ever. With one prize of $500,000, three of $100,000, six of $50,000, and 90 of $10,000, it's no wonder Lotto Triple Dips were flying out the door around the country.

How do I enter a promotion draw?

To qualify for entry into our Lotto promotions, a specific Lotto ticket must be purchased within the promotional period. The ticket type and promotion dates will depend on the type of promotion that is running and will be defined in the promotion’s terms and conditions. When the Lotto ticket is purchased, a special voucher will be produced with your Lotto ticket – you need to keep this voucher as your promotion entry.

Where can I find the terms and conditions?

The terms and conditions for each promotion will be available via a link on this webpage or from any of our 1000 plus Lotto outlets during the promotion period.

How are the promotion vouchers drawn?

The winning voucher numbers are drawn using our random number generator computer, which is fully automated and kept in a secure environment. The integrity of our random number generator has been audited and confirmed by a number of independent parties, including Audit New Zealand and the Department of Internal Affairs.

Official promotion results will be available after 9pm on the promotion’s draw date on our Promotion Results page.
