Instant Kiwi is a scratch card lottery with pre determined outcomes that are revealed when the latex covering is scratched off. Tickets can be found at all Lotto retailers throughout New Zealand.
You have a choice of ticket prices from $1 right up to $10, with prize rewards ranging from free tickets up to $250,000 depending on the game being played. On average, between two and three players each week win $10,000 or more, and over $1 million in prizes is given away on Instant Kiwi each week. There is roughly a one in four chance of winning with Instant Kiwi making it one of the most winnable games around!
The prizes are printed on the tickets under strict security practices, ensuring the utmost integrity. Prizes are randomly distributed to ensure that no-one can detect where they are until a lucky player reveals that they have the winning ticket.
There is a legal age restriction on Instant Kiwi. Under the Gambling Act 2003, no one under 18 years old can purchase an Instant Kiwi for themselves, no one can buy an Instant Kiwi on behalf of an under 18 year old, and an Instant Kiwi prize cannot be paid out to anyone under 18 years old.
All Instant Kiwi games are closed and recalled as soon as the last top prize has been claimed or when we have run out of stock.
