Big Wednesday is our mid week lottery game that offers you the chance to win the ultimate lifestyle. To be in to win, simply pick your favourite numbers and coin toss or just ask your Lotto retailer for a Big Wednesday dip.
There are two easy ways to play Big Wednesday
1. Choose your own numbers and coin toss
Pick your own 6 numbers and coin toss by filling out a self-select Big Wednesday coupon.
All you have to do is mark 6 numbers and a Heads or Tails option on a Big Wednesday coupon provided in store or online. Each line of numbers and Head or Tail selection costs $1.00 and you must play a minimum of 4 lines, which costs a total of $4.00.
If you wish to take both Heads and Tails options for each line of numbers, you can do so by marking the 'Both Heads and Tails' box on the coupon. Playing both Heads and Tails for all lines costs an additional $1.00 per line. If you are playing both Heads and Tails and select the first 6 numbers drawn on the same line you will win both first and second division.
2. Grab a dip and let the computer randomly pick your numbers
There are three different easy dip options:
- The computer randomly picks your numbers and Heads or Tails for you.
- The computer randomly picks your numbers but you specify either Heads or Tails.
- The computer randomly picks your numbers but you specify both Heads and Tails for all selections.
What Is The Coin Toss?
Big Wednesday is different to Saturday Lotto because it includes a coin toss selection - Heads or Tails. You must choose either Heads or Tails, or you can cover your bases and get both for each line of numbers. To win Big Wednesday first division you need the correct coin toss.
Multidraw and Earlybirds
A Multidraw ticket allows you to play your own selections or a Dip over two, three, four, five or 10 consecutive draws. This is particularly handy if you don't have the opportunity to purchase a ticket each week and don't want to miss out on a chance to win Big Wednesday.
An Earlybird ticket means you can purchase a ticket for a future draw, up to 10 weeks in advance of the current draw. This is particularly handy if you're planning to go away and don't want to miss out on a particular Big Wednesday draw.
Big Wednesday Combo
Big Wednesday Combo makes it fun to play Big Wednesday with friends, family or work mates. Combo allows you to combine eight, nine or 10 of your group's lucky numbers and coin toss selection. A Big Wednesday Combo ticket gives you every possible combination of your numbers plus the coin toss selection.

When Is Big Wednesday Drawn?
The Big Wednesday draw occurs every Wednesday night at approximately 8.20pm on TV One. Six numbers are drawn from a possible 50 numbers out of the Big Wednesday ball machine. There is also a Heads or Tails coin toss randomly selected. The aim of the game is to match the six numbers drawn and the coin toss.
If, on the same line, you match all six numbers drawn and you have the correct Heads or Tails, then you win Big Wednesday 1st Division! Big Wednesday Results

Just watch the live Big Wednesday draw on TV One at approximately 8.20pm, every Wednesday.
